The Real Difference

While traditional soil sampling probes are widely used, the Collect-N-Go® soil collection tool is a much more user-friendly and cost-effective tool.

Research shows the Collect-N-Go® to be twice as fast and twice as easy as traditional soil probes.

Many soil probes struggle in Western Canadian soils – but the Collect-N-Go® will work in all soil types and moisture conditions.

This includes dry soils where traditional soil probes may struggle or not even work. With the Collect-N-Go® anyone can take soil samples.

The Collect-N-Go® kit includes a specialized collection bucket and proprietary soil sampling bit that goes up to 12”. A bit that goes up to 24” is also available.

Directions for Use

The Soil Auger working end is a sharp object. Always carry with working end pointed away from yourself or anyone else.
  • Transport Soil Auger in a flat position.
  • Recommended to wear gloves for hand protection.
  • Use Security Tie to prevent loss during transport.

1). Attach Soil Auger to the handheld drill motor.

2). To extract soil sample, place bucket on ground w / collection tube contacting the ground. Firmly press bucket downwards using handle grip on bucket.

3). Insert Soil Auger into collection tube until contacting ground. Turn on drill motor w / a clockwise rotation and press down until desired depth is reached.
Step 3
4). Pull drill motor straight up until Soil Auger is out of collection tube, then stop drill motor rotation.
5). Proceed to next subsample location in the field. Then repeat steps 2-4 until all subsamples are collected.
6). Pour soil sample using pour spout into lab container to be sent to the lab for analyzing.
