Garth Render

Executive Vice President Earthstrong Canada

After graduating from the University of Manitoba in 1990 with a degree in Soil Science, Garth has spent the last 31 years working in the crop inputs industry in various capacities.  To start his career, Garth relocated to Saskatoon, SK after accepting a research development position with Chemagro. Garth then moved on to a sales role with DowElanco, working in both Swift Current, SK and Saskatoon, SK. Late 1997 saw Garth become the Crop Input Manager at the new ConAgra site in Nokomis, SK. After 5 years on the retail side, he moved to Winnipeg, MB to work as the National Marketing Manager with UAP Canada.  In 2010, Garth accepted the role of Canadian General Manager for Gowan Company. All these experiences, combined with his personal drive, have given Garth the ability and expertise to take on his latest challenge of starting an exciting new fertility company. Earthstrong Canada will be the third business Garth has started from the ground up. Garth and his wife Shelley are based in Winnipeg, MB. They are the proud parents of three children, one presently in medical school and two following their parents into careers in agriculture. 

Kevin Cavanaugh

President & CEO of Earthstrong Canada

A former Class A Superintendent with the GCSAA, Kevin interned at Augusta National Golf Club before furthering his career at Indian Creek Country Club, Card Sound Golf Club, and The Plantation at Ponte Vedra. While the superintendent at The Plantation, Kevin was asked to join Palmer Course Design Company as a grow-in consultant for the company’s many rebuild and renovation projects. Through that experience and due to Kevin’s familiarity with Floratine’s product line, he decided upon a career with Floratine as a corporate agronomist. He is also co-owner, President, and CEO of Floratine Products Group Inc.  

Mike Cavanaugh

Executive Vice President & Co-Owner of Floratine Products Group Inc. 

Mike is a former Marine Captain and attack helicopter pilot. After leaving the Marines, Mike worked in various roles in the pharmaceutical industry for ten years, including sales and marketing for Abbott Labs in Chicago. Moving back to Newtown, PA, he helped start the new biotech company OraPharma, and served as Executive Director of Marketing. OraPharma was purchased by Johnson and Johnson four years later. Post-acquisition, he served with J&J as National Sales Director until 2007. In 2007, he and his brother, Kevin, bought Floratine Products Group with a private equity partner. He has a B.S. in Business from Penn State, and an M.B.A. from New York University Stern School of Business. He is married and has one daughter who lives in Rotterdam. 

Kory Wheeler

Executive Vice President, Earthstrong Ag Division 

A former potato, hay, grain, and cattle producer in  Idaho, Kory has worked in most levels of the crop input industry over his 25-year career and loves figuring out how to make things flourish. After college, Kory worked as a Crop Advisor with growers in Idaho and Oregon. He then moved to Washington State and worked for Zeneca/Syngenta as a Territory Lead. Kory then went to work for Gowan Company as a Global Product Manager. In 2010, Kory took the position of Nutritional Products Specialist for the Western Business Unit of Helena Chemical Company which evolved into the role of Strategic Account Manager (SAM). Kory was then asked to move to the California Desert to manage the Brawley, CA Branch and later Yuma, AZ which saw great success in his tenure. Kory joined the Floratine team in 2017 in his current role. He has a B.S. in Business and Agribusiness from Utah State University, and an M.B.A. from Boise State University.  Kory and his wife Krysten currently reside in Kaysville, UT, and together have 9 children. 

Colton Holden

Product Specialist, Earthstrong Ag Division 

Colton has worked in various roles within retail and wholesale agriculture, including Crop Advisor, Research and Development, Marketing, Warehouse Management, Crop Protection Procurement, and Product Registrations. Colton has a B.S. in Natural Resources & Ag Business from Utah State University. Colton currently lives a few miles away from his family’s farm in Tremonton, UT with his wife Noelle and 3 children. Colton joined the Floratine team in 2019 in his current role, and is passionate about soil science and plant physiology. 

Becky Egli

Customer Service 

Becky Egli is a seasoned customer service professional with over fifteen years of experience in management, human resources, and operations. She is driven, energetic, and enjoys thinking outside the box for the best customer experience. She joined Earthstrong in September 2021, and is eager to continue the journey with a supportive and forward-thinking team. Becky currently resides in northern Utah on a small ranchette where she and her husband have raised three children, a few cows, chickens, and dogs.
